How many people can join a room?

Up to 4 people can be in a room at once. If it is full, someone has to leave before another person can join.

Do I need an account?

No. Choose a name and a mark, then create or join a room. There is no email, login, or password for Scripture Room itself.

Is Scripture Room free?

Yes. You can open a room, read, highlight, comment, and draw at no cost. A free room does not stay forever. A premium plan for kept rooms and more translations is coming later.

Which Bible translations can I read?

Rooms can use the World English Bible (WEB) or the King James Version (KJV). Both are public domain. The translation is chosen when the room is created and stays the same for everyone in it.

How do I join a room?

Enter the room code on the home page, or open a shared link or QR code. If the room has a password, you will be asked for it unless the link already includes it.

Can I keep a room private?

When you create a room you can set an optional password of 4 to 64 characters. Without one, anyone who has the code can enter. A password is not a full lock — treat the code like a door key.

How do I highlight a verse and leave a note?

Stay on Read, then drag across words in a verse. A box opens beside that verse. Type a comment, or click away to cancel. Click a comment to expand it; click away to fold it back up. You can delete your own notes.

How does drawing work?

Use Draw at the bottom of the page to sketch on the passage. Everyone in the room sees the lines as you make them. Erase only removes your own strokes, and you can change the pen or eraser size from the small arrow next to each tool.

Do highlights and drawings stay after I leave?

They stay with the room, so people who join later can still see them, until the room itself is cleared.

How long does a room last?

A free room is cleared 14 days after the last highlight, comment, or drawing. Opening it again does not reset that. A room nobody marks is cleared 48 hours after it was created. Premium, when it is available, will keep rooms from being cleared for being idle.

How do I share a room?

Open Share in the room for a QR code and a link. If the room has a password, you can include it in the link so people skip typing it. Anyone with that link can enter, so only send it to people you want in the room.

What if someone is reading a different chapter?

Marks in the top right show who is in the room. Click someone else's mark to jump to the passage they are on.

Why does it say my name is taken?

Each person in the room needs a distinct display name. Try a small change, or use the suggested name if one is offered.

What is saved on this device?

Your name, mark, recent rooms, and whether you have finished the tour stay in this browser. A room password is kept only for the current session.
